By accessing our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility & Access

Access to Diplomatic Village and its duty-free services is restricted exclusively to individuals and organisations that meet the following criteria:

• Accredited diplomats and members of foreign missions in Nigeria.
• Staff of international organisations holding valid diplomatic or official privileges under the Vienna Convention or bilateral agreements.
• Approved institutional buyers and organisations as determined by Diplomatic Village and relevant Nigerian government authorities.

Unauthorized access, including circumventing eligibility controls or misrepresenting credentials, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

3. Use of the DVL Portal

Access to the DVL Portal is granted upon successful application and verification of diplomatic credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

You must notify us immediately at info@diplomaticvillage.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Duty-Free Regulations

All purchases made through Diplomatic Village are subject to the duty-free privileges granted by the Nigerian Federal Government and must comply with applicable customs regulations. Duty-free allowances are personal and non-transferable.

Any abuse of duty-free privileges, including re-sale of duty-free goods or purchases on behalf of ineligible persons, is a violation of Nigerian customs law and these Terms, and will result in the immediate suspension or revocation of Duty-Free Card access.

5. Acceptable Use

When using our website or portal, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any application or form.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data belonging to Diplomatic Village or its users.
• Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access or extract content from our digital services.
• Engage in any conduct that disrupts, damages, or impairs the operation of our services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Diplomatic Village Ltd or its licensors and is protected under applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.

No content may be reproduced, distributed, or republished without prior written permission from Diplomatic Village.

7. Limitation of Liability

Diplomatic Village provides its website and portal on an “as is” basis and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
